Sea-Tac International Airport is a blur of blue and green as Seattle football fans begin to make their way to Phoenix. Balloons, Skittles and cheers abound throughout the terminals this week.

Headed to Phoenix? Breeze through the airport with these big game travel tips.

We can’t wait to cheer on our Chief Football Officer Russell Wilson this Sunday, and will continue our support as we did during the play-offs, with a pledge to donate $3,000 to Strong Against Cancer for every touchdown scored by Wilson and his offense.

We’re also getting ready to send a 737 full of Russell Wilson fans down to Arizona this weekend, when Russell Wilson’s Fan Flight II takes off for Phoenix. Earlier this month more than 80,000 Mileage Plan members entered for the chance to win tickets on a special charter flight to cheer on Alaska’s Chief Football Officer Russell Wilson when his team plays in the big game Feb. 1. The lucky winners and their guests will enjoy an ‘inflight tailgate party’ on their way to Phoenix on Alaska’s “Go Russell” 737-900ER aircraft, two nights’ hotel accommodations and admission to a VIP game day party. Follow along on social using the hashtag #RussellsFanFlight2.

For media: Russell Wilson’s Fan Flight II to Phoenix takes off this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Please contact newsroom@alaskaair.com for more information and to RSVP for the send-off.
