Alaska Air Group flight operations are operating normally today after the airline experienced several issues with its computer systems overnight Wednesday.
Alaska started to experience intermittent network issues at about 9 p.m. PDT. The issues continued for roughly three hours, contributing to about 60 delays overnight for Alaska and Horizon.
We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.
Our Information Technology Systems team is investigating the cause of the system issues and the outage.

Our pre-flight departure paperwork computer system is back up and flights are operating normally this morning.

Wednesday evening, several computer systems began experiencing intermittent technical issues, including programs for passenger check-in through Alaskaair.com, our mobile app, and airport kiosks, as well as our program for pre-flight departure paperwork.
Our rapid response technical teams are now reconciling the technical issues experienced Wednesday night. Systems are returning to normal, however the remaining flights overnight could see delays. We do not expect flight cancellations.
Customers who are traveling early Thursday morning are strongly advised to check the status of their flight before leaving for the airport.

Travel advisory: Alaska Airlines is experiencing intermittent technical issues on alaskaair.com and our mobile app. Customers traveling tonight should arrive at the airport at least two hours in advance to check-in at the ticket counter.
